2014 marked a big change in my photography, as it was the first full year that I shot exclusively with a mirrorless, micro four thirds camera. The Olympus OM-D E-M5 has really modified the way that I shoot and how I approach photography, and even inspired me to create this website. When 2014 started, I was still a little hesitant to use the small camera for everything, worried that in certain situations it wouldn’t match up to a DSLR. Forcing myself to embrace this fear was one of the best things I could have done.
Cameras are getting smaller, not bigger! Let’s keep the RAW files, the interchangeable lenses, the control and the quality and do more, with less.
I’ve photographed and shared more in 2014 than ever before. So much has happened in just one short year, 2015 can only be better. I hope you enjoy my 20 favorite photos of 2014! Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Google+ or Instagram to keep up with what I’m shooting!
