Up until now if I wanted to carry around my micro four thirds gear on a day hike or a bike trip I had to use one of my old DSLR backpacks. These bags were designed to carry much larger cameras and lenses, so like wearing clothes three times your size, they work, but feel a bit clunky. Luckily companies like Think Tank Photo are making some new equipment designed from the ground up for smaller mirrorless gear.
This winter has been brutal in the northeast US, so I was really excited to get my hands on this backpack, strap on my snowshoes and give it a real world test. I love Think Tank bags, and already own a Retrospective 5 (another great mirrorless bag, reviewed here), but needed something that could carry a tripod as well as having a little more space if I wanted to head out into the woods for the day. The Perception Tablet does all this AND has a spot for my iPad. What more do you need?
If you want to pick one up, get it directly from Think Tank through my links below and you’ll get free shipping AND free gear from Think Tank Photo.
If Amazon is more your style, you can use this link (Think Tank Perception Tablet) to order in any color. It doesn’t cost you a penny extra and helps keep this site running. Thanks!
